KaeilOS includes Eclipse IDE support
Koan, the italian specialist in real-time and embedded software development and training, announce the new 3.0 release of KaeilOS (formerly Klinux) embedded Linux.Starting from this new version, KaeilOS comes standard with Eclipse 3.2 (Callisto) based development and debugging tools, making it the leading embedded linux for industrial applications in Europe.
Our KaeilOS roadmap foresee a progressive integration with Eclipse of all software components allowing an homogeneous environment easier to use user for skilled and novice linux programmers.
In our vision, Eclipse will be an important milestone for KaeilOS(R) as wxWidgets has been for our wxEmbedded(R)
architecture in the past because we believe to a wide system integration, something like an olistic vision.
Integrating KaeilOS development kit into Linux and Windows hosts will allow much more people to approach embedded linux in an easier way.
We are considering skilled and new and un-experienced linux users, who need an easy way to create embedded linux systems, for all those we offer the integration of all KaeiOS components like kernel sources, cross-compilers, debugger
and now Eclipse.
KaeilOS 'bronze' is composed by a collection of the best GNU/GPL licensed tools freely available in the internet,
we teste and use them in our daily job, and we are spreading them adding some documentation into a single CDROM for only 299 euro.
A professional support is added into versions 'silver' and 'gold' which are based on the same CD foundation.
